Privacy-minded analytics

We use Netlify’s server-side analytics to understand aggregate site activity, such as pageviews, estimated visitor counts, popular pages, referring sites, and broad geographic regions. This service does not place analytics cookies in your browser.

Like any web host, Netlify processes request information, including IP addresses. Netlify uses that information to estimate unique visitors, but House of Colligere does not use it to build individual visitor profiles or track people across websites.

Your Shelf and browser storage

The Your Shelf feature uses local browser storage to remember the collections you select. That information stays on your device, is not used for advertising, and is not used to follow you across other websites. Clearing this site’s browser data will also clear your saved shelf.

Information you choose to provide

If you email us or begin checkout, we use the information you provide to answer your question, calculate applicable tax, arrange pickup or shipping, complete your order, and provide customer service. We may also send one follow-up message asking about your purchase and inviting you to share a review. We do not sell personal information.

If you submit a review, we store the rating, written review, display name you choose, and any optional photo and description you provide. Submissions are reviewed before publication. We display them only with the permission requested on the review form. Photos are resized in your browser before upload, which also removes embedded camera metadata from the submitted copy.

Services that help the shop operate

House of Colligere relies on a small set of service providers: Netlify hosts the website and provides aggregate analytics; Square provides hosted checkout and payment processing; Stripe supports tax calculation; Sanity stores collection and order state; and Resend delivers purchase follow-up and review-related email. These providers process information according to their own privacy terms and only as needed to provide their services.

When you continue to Square’s hosted checkout, Square may use cookies or similar technologies under its own privacy policy. Those are separate from the House of Colligere website’s analytics practices.
